Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The servers are located in the European Union. The site is designed in Switzerland, but is not hosted there.
Purpose of the service
wcard.ch lets you create a free virtual business card, accessible via a public link and a QR code. Creating, editing and viewing cards is free and will remain so for the features described on the homepage.
Printing paper cards is a paid, optional service. The service is never conditional on a purchase.
Content published by users
Each user remains responsible for the information they publish on their card and guarantees they hold the necessary rights to the texts, photographs and logos they submit. Published cards are public: accessible to anyone who knows the link and may be indexed by search engines.
The publisher may unpublish, without notice, a card that is clearly unlawful, misleading, impersonating a third party, or infringing on others' rights. To report a card, use the contact form and provide its address.
Intellectual property
The site's design, code, text and illustrations are protected. Content submitted by users remains their property: the publisher only acquires a right of use limited to displaying the card, generating the print file and, where applicable, transmitting it to the printer to fulfil an order.
Print orders
Paper cards are produced by a partner printing provider, who receives the print file and delivery address for this purpose. Prices shown at the time of order are in Swiss francs, delivery included unless stated otherwise.
Cards are custom-made from your data and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged once production has started. Swiss law does not provide for a general right of withdrawal for distance purchases. This restriction obviously does not affect your rights in case of a defect: a printing error, damaged product, or one not matching your file — report it and the order will be redone or refunded.
Check the preview and the PDF before confirming: any typo in your information will be printed as is.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The publisher makes reasonable efforts to ensure the security and continuity of the service, but cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from unavailability, data loss, or improper use of the service.
Keep a copy of your professional information: your card is a convenient way to present this data, not its sole backup.
Data protection
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Applicable law
This notice is governed by Swiss law. Jurisdiction lies at the publisher's registered office, in Montreux (canton of Vaud), subject to any mandatory venue provided by law, in particular in favour of consumers.
